Slieve Bloom Organics was launched in 2023 by Alison Chambers, a horticulturist who had previously worked at the location on Lough Boora Farm. She has lived for many years in or near the Slieve Bloom Mountains of Laois/Offaly, hence the name. The Slieve Bloom Organics brand is about harmony with nature and growing in ways that bring about optimum nutrition in the food without bringing any harm to the environment.
