Customer Reviews
The staff apparently don’t know how to fillet fish - not really sure why you would be working in a fish monger if you can’t fillet a fish. Went in today to ask for seabass to be filleted but the woman said she didn’t know how to do that. Pretty odd and doesn’t inspire much confidence in the quality or ability of the shop.
Got mackeral here a few years ago. Fancy bagged only to find it old. Walked past today to see no window pricing and nearly all filleted. Which means you don't no if is fresh. For years I have been going elsewhere. Little tip. If only Irish buy your non-fishy smelling fish with no head, bones or skin your not really a fishmonger.
We absolutely adore this place, the sole spot in Dublin where we purchase our fish. The produce is consistently fresh and delightful, even if left in the freezer for a while. The staff is incredibly friendly, always offering helpful recommendations. Our top pick? Lemon sole!
