Listing questions
Is it free to list my farm or food business?
Yes. Listing is free for every Irish producer, and FarmFinder carries no advertising.
Who can be listed on FarmFinder?
Farms and farm shops, farmers' markets, food producers and artisan makers, honesty box and farm gate stalls, community supported agriculture and box schemes, and trade bodies. Shops and cafés that stock local food may be listed too, labelled as retailers rather than producers.
How long until my listing appears?
We review each submission by hand before it goes live, usually within a few days. We may email you if something needs clarifying.
What information is shown publicly?
Always shown: your business name and type, county, address and Eircode, products, how you sell, certifications and description. Your phone number, website and opening hours are shown only if you give them and leave "show on my listing" ticked, and your email address is shown only if you opt in. Your contact name is never shown. Anything you hide is used only so we can reach you about your listing.
Is my business already listed?
Many are, from public sources. Start typing your business name in the form and we will show any matching listing. If it is yours, claim it instead of submitting a new one so you can update it yourself.
How do I change or remove my listing later?
Claim your listing at farmfinder.ie/claim to update it, or use the contact form and choose "Privacy / data request" to ask for a correction or removal. Your data and listing rights are explained on the Your Data page.
Do I need a website to be listed?
No. Only the business name, type, county, address, products, how you sell, a short description and a contact email are required.
