Your Data & Listing Rights
FarmFinder runs on a simple idea: your data is yours. Here's how to control it — no forms in triplicate, no waiting weeks. The legal detail lives in the privacy policy.
I have an account
- Delete everything, instantly: Dashboard → Settings → Delete account removes your profile, saved meal plans, preferences and claims. No email required, no "are you sure" phone call.
- Individual items: saved meal plans each have their own delete button; shared plan links can be taken offline by deleting the plan.
- No account? Then we hold essentially nothing about you — your favourites and preferences live in your own browser. Clearing site data in your browser removes them.
My business is listed
We list Irish food businesses from public sources (each listing shows its source) so shoppers can find you. You have three options, all free:
Take control
Claim your listing to edit details, add photos and hours, and see your visitor stats.
Claim your listing →Fix something
Wrong address, old phone number, closed down? Use the correction link at the bottom of your listing page, or the contact form.
Request a correction →Be removed
Rather not be listed at all? Tell us and we'll delist you — within 30 days, usually much faster, no questions asked.
Request removal →Anything else (GDPR requests)
Access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection, portability — send any GDPR request via the contact form or info@farmfinder.ie. We respond within 30 days. If you're unhappy with how we handle it, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission — though we'd appreciate the chance to fix it first.
