About Achill Island Sea Salt
Achill Island Sea Salt is a family business founded in 2013. In the time-honoured style, we began producing sea salt in our family kitchen. Growing demand however, saw us move to a new facility on the Island in September 2016. Our aim is to create a great tasting, pure and natural Irish Sea salt using sustainable production methods and to provide a viable industry on Achill Island. Popular Products About Newsletter

Customer Reviews
Fabulous local business that has established a reputation among chefs and restaurants. The onsite coffee & ice-cream offering is delicious with plenty of outdoor seating. Great place to take children to experience the story of salt making on Achill. The shop is packed with goodies, a great place for gift shopping.
Definitely put on to do list when on Achill. Free exhibition of salt production in the background and a great display of salt related gifts in the shop. Coffee cart outside with outdoor seating
Great place to visit, gift shop was surprising (wouldn't have known there was so many uses for salt!) and the self guided tour was a nice unexpected addition. Coffee shop outside, with a good range of drinks, tray bakes, sea salted fudge etc.
