Small batch honey is produced by local beekeepers who take great care in ensuring the health and wellbeing of their bees. We have been growing vegetables organically in Ballinasloe Co. Galway since 2002. We began with a box scheme, followed by markets and then into wholesale to food service, then to shops selling prepack vegetables and finally selling bulk pallets to consolidators and other food businesses. We are currently selling business to business only supplying shops, supermarkets restaurants and market stall and veg box schemes.

Blackwater Honey is a 3rd generation, family run, Beekeeping business focused on producing real Irish honey. We work with the natural landscape, not against it. Our apiaries sit along the Blackwater river, an area known for clean air, diverse forage, and low agricultural pressure. You can taste the natural landscape in every jar.
