This bakery won the 2025 Irish Food Award. I arrived around 11 am and most of the pastries were already sold out. Their sourdough and pastries go through a 2 day process. The layers are beautifully risen and the flavors are excellent. There are a few outdoor tables. The only downside is that the location isn’t the convenient.
After countless bakery visits across Ireland, I can confidently say that Noisette Artisan Bakery in Rush has served me the best pastries I’ve tried in the country. The moment I bit into their Pain au Chocolat, I knew it was something special—layers of delicate, golden pastry with just the right amount of rich chocolate, baked to absolute perfection. It wasn’t just good—it was exceptional. The kind of pastry that makes you stop mid-bite to savour the moment. Their Seeded Sourdough also stood out.
Visited today for first time with a friend. I am in love with the cinnamon swirls & the sourdough is so nice. Outside seating is good, doesn’t feel exposed even though it’s on a busy Main Street. Will definitely be back.
