🧀 The best stop at Cahir market? The cheese stall! I honestly didn’t expect to be able to taste so many different cheeses — and all for free 😍 One reminded me of young parmesan, another was a delicate blue cheese that just melted in my mouth. The vendor was happy to explain each type — where it’s from and what it pairs well with. It was lovely not to feel rushed and to really take the time to choose what I liked. I walked away with a piece of aged Irish cheese and a basket full of inspiration 🙌
Lovely van here offering gluten free baked goods, so tasty! They also offer tea, coffee, and hot chocolate. Great little spot for coeliacs! I believe they are called May's and Kay's Kitchen.
Small farmers’ market. Worth it for the morning snacks. There is even a place to sit and enjoy your coffee. Small veggie section, but more than plenty for personal needs. They even have a fish monger. Highly recommend, come and support your local community.
