O’Donnell’s Bakery was established in 1969. Now owned by Andrew McElhinney and family. The bakery was based in Ballyshannon until 2005 when the bakery relocated to the beautiful countryside just outside Laghey village in County Donegal and we have been here ever since enjoying the view of green fields around us.

Mikes Fancy Cheese is proud to be creating a new tradition of raw milk cheese making in Northern Ireland. Northern Irelands first raw milk cheesemaker, Mike Thomson and his small team produce a raw milk blue cheese called Young Buck. Mike’s Fancy Cheese cheesemongers is based at 41 Little Donegall Street, Belfast.

Cahir Farmers Market | Select Page Located at the Castle Carpark in Cahir, County Tipperary, Cahir Farmers Market hosts stallholders specialising in vegetarian goodies, fresh baked bread and savoury bread, meat stalls, apple farm stall with seasonal fruits, juices, cider vinegar, Fish stall and more. The Killavullen Farmers' Market is a community market set up in 2002 following a conference held on the "Food we buy", inspired by Darina Allen who was a guest speaker. The market is set in the peaceful surroundings of the in the Blackwater valley. Beautiful walks around the Centre and by the river are a must.

I started baking with my mum at 2 years old. I pursued a career in science until 2017 when i started baking bread and making a range of baked goods and desserts for weddings. In 2018, I began attending the weekly farmer’s market at Sheridan’s Cheesemongers in Carnaross, Co Meath, selling cakes, cookies and other sweet treats. In 2021, I started making sourdough bread for Platter By Lu in Trim, Co Meath as well as the market and being part of the Local Green Box Cavan. In 2022, I moved into my own bakery kitchen and have been baking full time since then.
