Customer Reviews
Such a great tour and history of Mead. Patrick (English version) was so knowledgeable, personable and witty. It’s a family run business and you can tell that when you first walk in. Highly recommend especially if you like honey and mead.
Fantastic mead tour experience! Our guide kept us entertained, and we learned a lot about Ireland's honey and mead history. Their meads are not as sweet as ones I've had in the US but still excellent! Definitely worth checking out while in Kinsale.
Absolutely fantastic mead and tour. The staff at Kinsale Mead were so friendly. The tour was great, covering the process and history of mead in history, Ireland and their own process (Paul was excellent). As for the mead, it was soooo good, the different varieties were all great, and the profile varied (the wild berry and Atlantic were to our taste). Would recommend to anyone looking for a interesting activity for just over an hour.
