About Blacks of Kinsale

Blacks of Kinsale is an Irish microbrewery and craft distillery founded in May 2013 by husband-and-wife team, Sam and Maudeline Black. A passion for brewing began several years earlier when Maudeline gave Sam a home fermenting kit for Valentine's Day. What started as a hobby quickly developed into an obsession. Through Sam's passion and enthusiasm Blacks of Kinsale became a reality, spawning its slogan 'Living the Dream Since 2013'. Origin Green approval through 31 May 2026.
