Calvey's on-Farm Abattoir Butchers

Couldn't recommend Achill Lamb highly enough. I have bought lamb when I have been on holidays over the last few years but decided to buy a full lamb for my parent the last time we were in Achill. It was sent to their home in Kerry in perfect condition, boxed, bagged and labelled perfectly. The taste from the meat is just amazing. So much so my parents bought another lamb and this was just as nice. As my father said, no other lamb compares to this and he is dead right. Well done to Achill Lamb.

We walked in for rack of lamb to cook at our Airbnb . Oh my gosh ! The best tender meat ever! Local butchers it is must try lovely clean shop with excellent service and lots of seasonable choices !

Top class produce. I bought the full lamb in a box portioned for the freezer. The outer box was clearly labelled “food produce”, all portions inside were well wrapped and labelled and a recipe booklet was included with lots of Calveys Achill Mountain Lamb recipes from celebrity chefs. We have never eaten so well. Lovely Sunday roasts, late suppers of liver and onions, chops midweek and still plenty of cuts left in the freezer. Great value for all the dinners we are getting out of it. It to
