Blackfire is Belfast’s original spicy condiment company. I started it in 2014 after 40 years of travelling the world tasting amazing food and learning from those who made it. Our diet in the north of Ireland was traditionally very conservative so it was difficult to find condiments locally with heat and flavour so I began making my own for friends and family. I use Armagh cider vinegar in most of my products which is made from Bramley Apples which which have PGI protected status , one of only 3 products in the country to hold this certification.
