About Rockfield Dairy
Velvet Cloud is a range of handmade natural sheep’s milk yogurt and cheese. Made on the family farm, just outside of Claremorris in Co. Mayo, where the Flanagan family have been farming for generations. Mayo's mild, wet climate allows the Flanagan’s flock to graze an abundance of grass and clover pastures for almost the entire year.

Our visit to this lovely family farm was truly a highlight of my trip to western Ireland. Aisling gave a fascinating and informative tour and educated us with wit and warmth on the nutritional value of sheep yogurt and cheese, and then we had the most delicious lunch and got to experience the deliciousness first hand! My only regret is that it’s not available yet in Kentucky but here’s hoping that changes at some point. Highly recommend this experience!
This live yogurt is the nicest I have ever tasted. It is creamy and thick we use it on everything. My son has eczema, and we were concerned he was reacting to dairy, but he loves this yogurt and it seems to agree with him perfectly. We are already converted by the taste alone, but an added benefit is the fact that it is high in protein calcium and vitamins, and there is zero processing, as it says on the lid Nothing added nothing strained away :).
