Thoroughly enjoyed the visit , the cheese maker and goat farmer was very knowledgeable and hospitable . Explained everything. Superb goats cheese made in the farm from the goats on site. Small batch artisanal cheese and pair the blue cheese with the cider from the Boyne Cider Mill just 20 min up the road and you have a match made in gourmet heaven

Goodness, this operation is impressive! On a lovely property set back from the road is a large barn housing 300+ goats used to make craft and award-winning cheeses. We were treated to a tour and sampling thanks to Extreme Ireland’s Farm to Fork tour. The owner was away but his brother provided great insight to what goes into making the cheese. It didn’t hurt that part of the tour occurred amongst the goats nibbling on hay. Delicious cheese made by a man passionate about perfecting his craft.
