Micil Distillery is located on the Wild Atlantic Way in Salthill village. We opened our doors in 2016, becoming Galway’s first legal distillery in over 100 years. We produce a range of extraordinary Irish spirits, carefully handcrafted using local botanicals, unique family recipes, and six generations of distilling knowhow.

Located in a small village in county Galway, Ahascragh Distillery has become a world class distillery producing Irelands first zero energy emissions whiskey and gin in their beautiful facility, a restored 19 century corn mill. While we wait for the first drop of Ahascragh spirit to mature, we want to give you a taste of what's to come. We began our journey with our Family Bond of hand-selected releases. These special releases although not distilled by us, are partly matured, finished and blended by us and bottled in our home in the West of Ireland. The Family Bond series includes UAIS Irish Whiskey, Clan Colla Irish Whiskey and Xin Gin. Origin Green approval through 31 May 2026.
