The Chophouse Gastro Pub

Such a lovely little pub walking distance from our hotel. We came right at open, so it wasn't busy yet, and we were able to sit in the sun room area. Our server was lovely and attentive. I had the courgette and sausage pasta special and my husband had the venison pie. Oh my goodness, they were both piping hot throughout the entire meal, and so so yummy. The service here is exceptional! The restaurant manager, Joe, was friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious and freshly prepared! I’ll be back and highly encourage that you do too!!

I found the Cow online and laughed at the name. Originally from Iowa, I thought it was the perfect place to celebrate my birthday. I can honestly say, the experience far outpaced my expectations. The service was unparalleled. Our server, David, was spectacular and made the evening feel special and unique. Thank you so much for the amazing way to celebrate!
