Upon Paul Walshe's return to Ireland from a trip in North America in 1997 he noticed there was ready availability and popularity for freshly squeezed juice, following this Sunshine Juice Ltd was formed in 1998. Paul purchased an industrial juicing machine and has been making juices from his Carlow base since. Today Sunshine Juice now operates out of a 26,000 sq ft facility in Carlow and employs 45 personnel. They produce a range of 100% freshly squeezed juices with no artificial additives or preservatives. Due to their growth their product range has further expanded to smoothies and fruit salads (branded as "Walshes Really Fresh") and their cold-pressed vegetable juice (branded as "Veg Out"). Walshe's Products have won more than 25 great taste awards and 8 Blas na hEireann awards. Origin Green approval through 31 May 2026.
