Customer Reviews
Great spot to visit. The pre-loved shop is really cheap and has great stuff and often has free items. The gardens are lovely, although they have now filled much of the available space with poly tunnels, doing away with the walks people used to have. There's a café and an eco shop too.
Really enjoyed the pumpkin treasure hunt as did my kids (7and 9). Refreshing to do something nature based and the walk was beautiful this time of year. Kids also loved the face painting and crafts
Sonairte is located on a historically significant farm complex on the banks of the River Nanny, near Laytown in County Meath. Since its founding, it has steadily developed—both in terms of its physical facilities and its status as an environmental organization, visitor attraction, and educational center. The site, which now covers about ten acres, is held on a long-term lease. Renovations have clearly been guided by the center's ecological philosophy, especially in the choice of building materi
