Absolutely loved our meal at The Brasserie! The setting is stunning, overlooking the gardens and hills — the perfect mix of sophistication and comfort. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully plated. The staff were friendly and genuinely welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable. It’s one of those places where you can really unwind and feel looked after. There’s a small smoking area at the side close to the bar too. Can’t wait to return soon.

We stopped in for some dessert. That’s it. Dessert. The waiter an hostess seemed baffled that we asked to see a menu. We simply wanted to see what they had. The seemed annoyed we asked to din in. It took 40 mins from the time we entered to the time we got our food for two desserts that were the size of 3 fingers. Nothing special. After that experience we choose to not eat lunch nor dinner here an left the premises. Each dessert was £14 and gone in 4 bites. I had a better dessert in Bray.

We stayed at the hotel for a long weekend for our wedding and our guests ended up at Sally Gap every night. It quickly became a regular stop for us and our guests. The food was solid every night. The gf Burger and short rib were both standouts, and the salads were fresh and well-prepared. We had them for lunch each day while getting ready for our welcome party and wedding. There were gluten-free options too, which was helpful for some of our group. They also had a nice variety of wines and beers
