Petes Kitchen

The food was absolutely lovely, and I have been dining there for a good while now. I would happily recommend the place to anyone. There were a few waiters on, all of them very sound and welcoming. I especially love seeing young people working as waiters .They were clearly working hard, full of energy, and very friendly. I had great craic chatting with two of them, Yuki and Fayul, and Fayul in particular was great fun and we had a good laugh. The chef even came over to have a chat with us as well

Not great, probably good for families. Food is not good or terrible, the pasta dishes are large and stodgy for example they use cream in their carbonara which is a sin in Italy. Presentation of the food and restaurant needs improvement. Not very clean. Pizzas looked nice, they served us a medium kids burger in a giant bun, I really wish restaurants would actually offer a smaller bun and burger for kids as opposed to a lazy offering of an adults burger without the toppings.

We were looking for somewhere to eat after a walk along the coast and stopped by Pete's. Surprised in this day and age to see no allergens listed on the menu. They had no vegan cheese and no chicken as a topping option. Ordered the ham and rocket pizza, but you won't believe this, there was limp lettuce scattered all over the top.
