Marlfield House

We have had afternoon tea here twice and lunch at the duck restaurant. All occasions have been a wonderful experience with the restaurant having wonderful food and service. The afternoon tea being the best I've had in Ireland, far above some other well regarded ones ive tried. There aren’t enough stars available to give to this hotel and besides the fact that the rooms and house is so obviously beautiful, it was the team that deserve the credit for the perfect experience. Dawn and Matthew who were front of house all day were not only attentive and professional, but beautiful people. I would stay in Marlfield again just for the two of them. Not forgetting Paul who was a 20/10 barman making perfect drinks and being all round good craic. Fantastic hotel. Worth every penn
