Lucey's 1880

This place must be understaffed or everyone has their break at the same time .. Went in for a coffee and cake ..just left standing at the counter , for a long time , not being acknowledged... Only 1 girl there ..cooking and serving other tables .. after 10 mins .. my wife said ..lets go somewhere else .... But we stayed ...the place got really full ..still only one girl ... And I think they should at least speak ... We did get a coffee , still only one girl ... aa we were leaving ..2 other girl

Lovely little restaurant in the centre of Mallow. Had the mini breakfast and it was delicious. It was a fine big breakfast there was nothing mini about it and came with there own home made black pudding, eggs, bacon, mushrooms beans and fried potatoes. The food arrived promptly and the staff were very friendly. It had lovely decor and also had a wheelchair friendly toilet. Would stop there again. Yum!

Atmosphere was poor. Met at the till with we’re closing in 30 minutes before order was even given. Me and my friend had 4 coffees two separate orders. So I left my friend go first . Then when a second worker came I ordered. I could hear a staff giving out at the coffee machine about us. No matter how load you think the coffee machine is the customer can still hear you just letting u know . Close the doors if you don’t want people coming in.
