Incredible food! The fish and chips is probably the best one I’ve ever had and the duck wings are not to be missed! Also loved the cauliflower and potato dish, definitely didn’t miss the meat. I love when veggie dishes are thought out and not just an after thought. Highly recommend.

Booked in for Sunday roast as I’d heard such good things. Unfortunately did not live up to expectations. Gravy was flavourless. Some of the roast was hot and other parts room temperature. Our party ordered five different dishes and no one was overly impressed. Definitely overpriced. The ambiance was what ruined it though. They were playing a jarring pop playlist (Chappell Roan, CharliXCX etc). Love those divas, but not when you’re having a roast on a Sunday in a traditional pub setting. It was

Very good food - special shout out to the modern take on a black pudding! We would 100% go back to eat there again, but the service unfortunately felt quite rushed and disorganized. Other than that the staff was friendly and helpful in picking out whiskey and wine, and all in all we enjoyed our dinner there.
