Farmleigh Farmers Market

What a beautiful way to spend a few hours at the weekend , or anytime. Situated in the Phoenix Park, Farmleigh House is not only steeped in history but it also accommodates visiting dignitaries. Currently there’s a wonderful Christmas wonderland to visit which is totally family friendly, lots of parking, no booking needed but do arrive early! The boat house cafe is a huge bonus and the food is delicious so pop in and spoil yourselves, Tis the season!!

I went to Farmleigh and really liked it. It’s a quiet and pretty place inside Phoenix Park. I walked around and saw lahmas and sheeps, really nice. I also visited the big house. It’s old and beautiful. A guide showed us the rooms and told stories about the Guinness family who lived there. The library was amazing,full of old books. After the tour, I had a coffee at the café and sat outside. It was calm and relaxing. There weren’t too many people, which made it even nicer. I think it is a nice

Beautiful House and Gardens with guided tours of the main building, a former home of the Guinness family currently owned by the Irish state, used to host foreign dignitairies and heads of state.
