Derrynane Smokehouse

We stayed only one night and got there by car - parking is right outside the house. Check in was easy and the hosts were super friendly. We had beautiful room with sea view and a yummie and filling breakfast. Derrynane beach is so beautiful. We were lucky to have seen a magical sunset and rainbow!

We stayed at the Derrynane Bay House while on a self guided walking tour through a 3rd party service. The paperwork from the service did not provide a check in window. After hiking 18 miles, we made it into Caherdaniel at 7:30pm. We called the hosts to let them know we'd like to get dinner in town before heading up the hill to their place and if arriving at 9pm was alright. Lovely & charming B&B, million dollar views. Host was more than accommodating when we were late due the unexpected & winding roads. Rooms were clean & comfortable. Excited to explore the Ring of Kerry, with this our first nights stopover.
