About Castleisland Market
Castleisland Co-op Livestock Mart is a farmer owned co-operative established in 1959 which provides a Livestock auctioneering, Property Sales, Leasing and Valuations service to its clients. In that time it has grown to become one of the largest such centres in the country, drawing sellers from all over Kerry, West Limerick and North and West Cork, and buyers from all over Ireland as well as international buyers.

As a local attraction it is in my top ten in the area. Mostly an outdoors experience so be prepared if visiting in bad weather.
Unacceptable behaviour towards animals only weeks old. Real hard men aren't ye. Nothing but cowards
Quick sale but not enough cattle or buyers that day. Show and sale day would probably be better.
