Common questions
How do I add my farm or food business to FarmFinder?
Use the free submission form at farmfinder.ie/submit. It takes a few minutes, and listings are reviewed before they appear. If you are already listed, claim your listing instead so you can keep it up to date.
How do I correct or update my listing?
If your business is already listed, claim it at farmfinder.ie/claim to update details yourself. If you cannot find it, use the contact form on this page, choose "Producer listing / claim", and include the address of the listing and what should change.
How do I have a listing removed?
Send a message with the category "Privacy / data request (GDPR)" and include the address of the listing. Producers can ask for their listing to be removed, and anyone can ask what personal data we hold and have it corrected or deleted.
Where does FarmFinder get its information?
From public sources such as producer websites, food-industry and trade directories, Bord Bia and local-food networks, plus details producers send us. The About page lists the sources, and each listing says where it came from.
How do I suggest a food event?
Use the form at farmfinder.ie/submit-event with the event name, dates, county and a link to the organiser. We check each suggestion before it is listed.
I am a journalist or researcher. Can you help?
Yes. Choose "Press / media" in the form and tell us your outlet, deadline and what you need. We can help with figures on Irish food producers and detail on regional food economies.
How quickly do you reply?
We usually reply within 1-2 working days, and aim to answer media enquiries within 24 hours.
